Developer’s Guide,
creates a unique variable for the NAME option for referencing a particular instance of the form. The LINKED option allows releasing all instances of the form when the array (TstArray) is released

Private Data Session, and WindowType

Modeless. Similarly, for the cursor in the data environment, Exclusive.F.-False.
The above provides the basic structure to allow multiple instances of the same form. The user is able to view and manipulate data with several copies independently. However, an additional issue, not discussed here, that must be resolved is managing buffering and related conflicts.
Other options that can be addressed programmatically include cascading the instances of form, maximum number of instances of the form available to the user, and numbering the different instances of the form.

The biggest problem is before you can drink any one of them you have to buy a really expensive bag of chips to go with it.

used to protect computer software. The justices will start by reviewing a controversial lower court ruling that denied Lotus Development Corp. copyright protection from Borland for a central element of its popular Lotus 1-2-3 spreadsheet program. From the Visual FoxPro Forum....
For people that downloaded the file ISSUES.ZIP before Sept. 29 1995:
It has come to our attention that the file ISSUES.ZIP that was uploaded to Library one of both FoxForum and the VFOX forum contained a Word file that was infected with the Prank macros.
We appologize to everyone who downloaded this infected file.
If you have this file and want more information about the prank macros and how you can clean them there is a text file in library one of the FoxForum and the VFOX forums. Text file explains where you can get the SCAN document in order to scan for and clean out the prank macros.
It is recommended that you do take the time to scan for this macro. Although the macro is not considered to be destructive it can cause data loss as it affects the Save functionality.
It Can’t Get Any Easier......
We’ve come up with an easy way to submit articles to
the
LA Fox Developer Newsletter
one that has been overlooked for a long time.
You can submit your articles to either Chuck Williams
(72330,2326) or Barry Lee (72723,3422) on
Compuserve.
These articles can be on any FoxPro-related topic, whether it concerns a new technique you’ve discovered, a certain development technique you may favor over others, book reviews, etc.
The quality of this newsletter really depends on the members that support it, not just read it. And I think we’d all be surprised by the useful information that could be circulated around the membership.
