The LA Fox Developer Newsletter
September 1995
News from the Net
by Kirk Nason, via the Internet

Welcome To DevWire!
Now you can’t miss it. No more browsing endless
World Wide Web sites, wondering what is new. No
more waiting for that postcard announcing a confer-
ence that starts that afternoon 3,000 miles away. No
more worrying that your fiercest competitor has a
pipeline into Microsoft and you’ll be the last to know.

On a biweekly basis, we will be sending you the
headlines of the most current Microsoft developer
news, events and information. If there’s time-sensi-
tive material that needs to go out right away, we’ll
send that to you in a flash message.

What can you expect? Information that’s specifically
selected for you, the developer. For example, we’ll
tell you when the next versions of Microsoft Visual
Tools will be available. Find out how to participate in
the next Developer Days extravaganza. You won’t
be left behind when new white papers are available
on our developer Web site. Basically, we’ll give you
brief abstracts of the material you want to know
About. And while you’re browsing our Web pages,
let us know how we’re doing on our Feedback form.

Where can you find more information? All of the
information we reference on the DevWire list server
can be accessed in its full glory from the following
Web site: http://www.microsoftcom/DevWire. So
cut and paste the address into your browser’s list of
favorite places. Don’t like arts and crafts? Don’t
worry - we’ll list the address on every DevWire
message.
