applications that run off a customized web-browser. The
amazing thing is that the application architecture itself is built
on itself, meaning the debugger, builder and wizards are also
web pages.
We had a slight breather during the afternoon break, which was
complimented with gourmet cookies and sodas (what, no Milk?)
Ken spent the rest of the day showing us how the whole
framework works, how it is put together, and answering ques-
tions. We were surprised that a lot of the stuff from GENSCRNX
had moved over to this new environment.
Ken ended the session with one last thrill, by showing how to
create a builder for a builder which can be utilized for building
Web pages as well. As the audience roared, Ken yelled
“BuilderB is dead, long live BuilderWebX”.

Corn facility features a Pacific Bell DS3 backbone and a TI
backup from UUNet, as well as redundancy and backup mea-
sures including a diesel generator. They’ve made us feel
welcome at their hosting service and have supported our needs
very well. If the support they’ve given us so far is any indication
of their future support then we should have one of the best sites
on the Web very soon.
We’ll be hosting our site on Dev-Com’s Windows NT server, and
their excellent support of Microsoft’s software will enable us to
develop the site using a full range of Microsoft’s state-of-the-art
applications including Active Server Pages and ODBC connec-
tions to FoxPro tables.
Arnon Gal-Oz, VFUG’s technical Manager, is in charge of
putting the site together. He is very busy and is doing a great
job getting the new VFUG ready. We will be online by June 1st
and Arnon will be pulling some technological minor miracles
getting VFUG into full swing. Arnon is well versed in the latest
Microsoft (MS) technology and has been a featured speaker at
MS presentations in Israel.
Scot Becker, VFUG’s Marketing Manager, has been very busy
with giving Arnon a hand getting the kinks out of the new VFUG
site. Contact Scot if your interested in advertising on VFUG,

It Can’t Get Any Easier.......
We’ve come up with an easy way to submit articles to the
LA
Fox
Developer Newsletter
one that has been overlooked for
a long time.
You can submit your articles to Barry Lee at CIS# 72723,3422
on Compuserve, or
brlee@earthlink.net.
These articles can be on any FoxPro-related topic, whether it
concerns a new technique you’ve discovered, a certain develop-
ment technique you may favor over others, book reviews, etc.
Editor reserves the right to edit or offer constructive comments
concerning submitted articles and accepted articles shall be
considered to be in the public domain.
The quality of this newsletter really depends on the members
that support it, not just read it. And I think we’d all be surprised
by the useful information that could be circulated around the
membership.
So.
How ‘bout it?
