August 20-23, 1998 - 2nd Annual Southern California Visual FoxPro
Conference. Sponsored by Microcomputer Engineering Services, LLC,
this conference was one of the highlights of the 1997 “conference season”,
providing a chance to see nationally-known speakers in a somewhat
smaller, more intimate setting. Last year, the conference drew attendees
from New Jersey to The Phillipines. This time out, the conference is going
to be held at The DoubleTree Hotel in Orange County. The conference
WebSite is up and running (http://www.mesllc.com/conf98.html), providing
all the details for this great cost-effective event. And, of course, you can
follow all the details right here. So start making plans now to attend. [Ed.
Note: For your convenience, a conference registration is included on page
9 of this issue.]

Important Announcement. We’re adding PageWatch Services to the LA
Fox Website (http://www.mesllc.com/lafox.html). Certain pages - the
download page, the meeting announcement page, etc. - will be “earmarked”
with the PageWatch symbol to make it easier for you to monitor the
website and stay current. If you’re interested, you just enter your e-mail
address at the bottom of any page where the PageWatch symbol appears
and you’ll be notified by e-mail (with a “hotlink” to the page) whenever the
page changes.
