August 20-23, 1998 - 2nd Annual Southern California Visual FoxPro
Conference. Sponsored by Microcomputer Engineering Services, LLC,
this conference was one of the highlights of the 1997 “conference season”,
providing a chance to see nationally-known speakers in a somewhat
smaller, more intimate setting. Last year, the conference drew attendees
from New Jersey to The Phillipines. This time out, the conference is going
to be held at The DoubleTree Hotel in Orange County. The conference
WebSite is up and running (http://www.mesllc.com/conf98.htm.), providing
all the details for this great cost-effective event. And, of course, you can
follow all the details right here. So start making plans now to attend. [Ed.
Note: For your convenience, a conference registration is included on page
9 of this issue.]
Since We Last Met...

Special Announcements
New Meeting Times for LA Fox. If you somehow missed the last LA
FoxCast, you need to know that the meeting times for LA Fox have been
changed from 7:30 PM to 6:30 PM . According to the Airport Authority at
Zamperini Field, where we meet, is forcing us to change our meeting time
from 7:30-10:00 PM to 6:30-9:00 PM. Well, they’re not actually forcing us,
but we have to be out of the building by 9:00 PM, because it seems that
our group stays the latest of any of the groups meeting there and they no
longer wnat to pay someone to be there during our meeting. So, for now, I
don’t see that we have much of a choice. We may just have to call a Board
Meeting over this one.
