Ken Levy’s Web-Centric Visual Foxpro Development seminar in
San Diego, will be on Thursday, Sept. 18, 1997 (the day after
Devcon). It will be held at the same hotel, which is the
Sheraton. There is a 5% discount for User Group members or

August 18, 1997, 7:30 PM - Barbara Peisch. Barbara Peisch
will be our speaker this month. She’ll be covering the basics on
how to start up and run a consulting business. Barbara is a
Microsoft MVP and writes a monthly tips column for FoxTalk
magazine. She is president of Peisch Custom Software, Inc. in
San Diego county.

September 22, 1997, 7:30 PM - LA Fox welcomes a very
special guest, MicroEndeavors. Please take special note in the
change of date for this meeting. Since our regular meeting
(Sept. 15th) falls during the San Diego DevCon, we’ve re-
scheduled. Thanks to Twila Miller, our treasurer, and a stroke of
luck, we’ve been able to arrange for our regular meeting place at
the Torrance Airport.

October 20, 1997, 7:30 PM - Peter Butterfield. Peter will be
speaking on frameworks tonight.. .their uses, advantages,
effectivity, what does or doesn’t make a good framework, etc.

the Anaheim Marriot. This conference will include sessions on
Internet Explorer 4.0; adding browser and Internet features to
